Triumph “For The Ride” podcast returns for second season

By: Published on 3 June 2022

Triumph Motorcycles America has launched the second season of their “For The Ride” podcast, which will consist of 16 original episodes in 2022.

The 12-episode inaugural season of the series offered a familiar podcast format, where each episode finds the host interviewing interesting riders from diverse backgrounds. Guests in the first season ranged from stunt riders and custom builders to athletes and musicians, such as Wesley Schultz, lead singer of The Lumineers.

The second season follows the fan friendly format, which successfully shares in-depth stories of interesting motorcycle riders. Each interview is done in a relatable manner which is equal parts entertaining and informative about riding, encouraging existing riders to ride more and inspiring non-riders to consider learning to ride.

The new season is 4 episodes longer, for a total run of 16 episodes over the Spring and Summer of 2022 and brings more well-known guests to the series. Already published are interviews with celebrity chef Dennis Prescott of Netflix’ “Restaurants On The Edge” and comedian Alonzo Bodden. The new season will see racers added, including interviews with the 2022 Daytona 200 winner, Brandon Paasch and six-time AMA SX and MX champion Jeff Stanton, to complement the notable riders from the worlds of entertainment, sports, and music.

Adam VanderVeen – Marketing Director, Triumph Motorcycles America & Host of For The Ride podcast: “The first season was a test to measure the appetite for a podcast of this format in the motorcycle space, and the feedback has been really positive. Initially I was just pleasantly surprised anyone listened. Then to find out some people listened to every episode blew me away. What really cemented the decision to come back for a second season was discovering the podcast encouraged some listeners to buy their first motorcycle. Getting more people on two wheels definitely made the time invested to create this well worth the effort.”

With the feedback that the podcast is effectively encouraging new ridership, for the new season, Triumph has incorporated a call to action for any interested new rider to sign-up for the Motorcycle Safety Foundation’s Basic eCourse, compliments of Triumph, at TriumphRider.com.

The new season is currently available on Apple and Spotify, and a full listing of all episodes can be found on the Triumph website.
