The 2015 Motocross World Championship kicked off last weekend in Qatar and Husky’s Max Nagl absolutely nailed the season opener.

The Red Bull IceOne Husqvarna Factory Racing rider took home two wins aboard his FC 450, grabbing both holeshots and leading both races from start to finish. Rounding out the podium in Race One was Clement Desalle (Suzuki), 1.221 seconds back in second, and Antonio Cairoli (KTM), 18.550 seconds behind in third. Desalle again finished second in Race Two, 6.023 seconds adrift, with Gautier Paulin (Honda) finishing third, 8.752 seconds back. For full results from MXGP Qatar, click here.

Nagl is first in the overall standings, obviously, with 50 points. Desalle sits second with 44, while Paulin and Cairoli are tied for third with 38.

The next round of MXGP goes March 8 in Thailand.
