2016 Day of Remembrance for road crash victims

By Cycle CanadaPosted on

The Canadian Motorcycle Association has designated Sunday, October 16th as the 7th Annual Day of Remembrance for motorcyclists who have been killed or seriously injured on Canadian roads.

No formal ceremony is planned but everyone is invited to visit our commemorative Tree and Rock of Remembrance in Kinsmen Park on Hwy 6 in Port Dover. Our moment of reflection will take place at 1:00 pm.

Holly Ralph, CMA Vice President and Day of Remembrance coordinator states that “the importance of safety for all motorcyclists and remembrance of those who have gone before us is of paramount importance to the CMA and all riders. We are honoured to spend this short time together reflecting on this and doing what we can to promote safety in the future”.
