KTM’s Marc Coma won this year’s Dakar Rally, a gruelling two-week off-road race that covered ground in Argentina, Chile and Boliva. It’s the Spaniard’s fifth Dakar win. Paulo Goncalves (Honda) finished second overall, 16:53 behind Coma, while Toby Price (KTM) was third, 23:14 back.

“I’m over the moon,” said Coma. “But even on the last day we weren’t able to take it easy. I had to push hard, so I set a strong pace. So I’m very happy, delighted to be here. It’s been a life’s work with the entire team, the ideal bike. Now, after so much effort, it’s time to relax and have fun.”
