Canadian Superbike Series Secures New Title Sponsor, Announces 2012 Schedule

Frontline CSBK Inc., organizer of Canada’s National motorcycle road racing series, has announced that Chrysler Canada’s Mopar brand is the new title sponsor of the 2012 Canadian Superbike Championship.

“We are thrilled to sponsor the exciting 2012 Mopar Canadian Superbike road race series,” said Jim Kiritsis, Head of Service and Parts, Chrysler Canada. “Our shared passion for performance and dedication to the series provides a great opportunity for the Mopar brand to connect with the fans involved.”

In announcing the new partnership with Mopar, CSBK’s Kevin Graham also released the 2012 schedule, stating, “We’re really proud to offer a solid slate of events at popular venues that our competitors support and our spectators enjoy.  We are looking forward to a strong 2012 season and it wouldn’t be possible without the valued support of our sponsors, partners, venues, staff and teams.”

2012 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship Schedule

Round 1        June 23-24       Shannonville Motorsport Park, ON.

Round 2        July 7 – 8          Autodrome St. Eustache, QC.

Round 3        July 21-22         Atlantic Motorsport Park, N.S.

Round 4        August 11-12    Circuit Mont-Tremblant, QC.

Rounds 5/6   August 25-26    Mosport International Raceway, ON.

The 2012 Mopar Canadian Superbike Championship will be comprised of six classes: Pro Superbike, Pro Sport Bike, Harley-Davidson XR1200 Cup, Amateur Superbike, Amateur Sport Bike and the brand new Honda CBR250R National Challenge series.
