MV Agusta Announces Move into Canada

By: Cycle Canada Published on 2 December 2010

Just one month after we said we hoped that MV Agusta would set up proposed operations in Canada in time for the spring 2012 launch of their gorgeous F3 supersport (voted top bike at EICMA this year), comes the announcement that the Italian manufacturer has recently appointed powersports parts company Motovan Corporation as its exclusive Canadian distributer.

“We have finally succeeded in obtaining all of the necessary approvals from the Canadian authorities.  Therefore the motorcycles can be imported into Canada for the very first time in the history of MV Agusta.” said sales director Umberto Uccelli. “After many inquiries from Canadian consumers, we are very proud to have reached an agreement with a reputable Canadian powersports organization such as Motovan,”added Uccelli.

The challenge now is for Motovan to set up “a small number of high-level dealers” across the country. Supply will be very limited for the first year, says Motovan, but they’ll be launching mvagustacanada.com almost immediately to give customers the opportunity to reserve their favourite MV model online.
