SPORTSTER CAMARO’67… A MUSCLE SCRAMBLER by Lord Drake Kustoms

This Harley Davidson Scrambler called SPORTSTER CAMARO’67 is inspired by an authentic muscle car from the Chevrolet brand and has been customized by the Lord Drake Kustoms team in his Harley transformation workshop in Vélez Málaga (SPAIN).

Francisco Alí Manen, motorcycle customizer and owner of Lord Drake Kustoms, received a call from a client from Belgium who followed his work and was in love with his Bultracker-type Sportster Scrambler models.

After several conversations, the client from Belgium told Fran Manen that he wanted a Sportster Bultracker but inspired by a ’67 Chevy Camaro that he had…he wanted the same colors, stripes and even the exhaust pipe that both cases are Supertrapp.

And the party began!..The client sent his base motorcycle from Belgium to Spain, which in this case was a Harley Davidson Nightster 1200, then the client flew from Belgium to Malaga to visit the Lord Drake Kustoms facilities and complete all the details in person… and from there the LDK team immediately began to work on customizing a scrambler motorcycle that was going to be very special.

Modification of the front suspension, Ohlins rear shock absorbers for Harley, the entire subframe cut and manufacturing of new rear and front fenders, were the beginning of this transformation work of a Harley Davidson that little by little was going to become a muscle car on two wheels.

Custom wheels measuring 18” inches at the rear and 21” inches at the front, 2:1 stainless steel exhausts with Supertrapp tail for Harley, custom air filter with Chevrolet emblems, BMX handlebars, Koso odometer for Spotster, Kellerman turn signals in cuffs and endless details give shape to this SPORTSTER CAMARO’67.

Finally, in the finishes, the black engine has been combined with chrome covers and the body has been painted with the same (identical) colors of the Chevy Camaro (orange with white stripes and lines of the same size); all this combined with an upholstery with orange thread in the shape of robberies for the seat.

After finishing the work, the owner of this spectacular scrambler motorcycle flew to Malaga to check the final result in person. After this visit, the LDK team led by Francisco Ali Manén was in charge of shipping the ’67 SPORTSTER CAMARO to Belgium where she now lives and roars accompanied by her older brother… an authentic ’67 Chevy Camaro.
