DAB Motors and Peugeot Motocycles join forces in an exciting new industrial partnership

French motorcycle manufacturers DAB Motors and Peugeot Motocycles have announced an industrial strategic partnership that will create a very unique offering in the electric motorcycle market.

The two brands have joined forces to leverage their respective strengths, with DAB Motors bringing its innovative vision in EV design and Peugeot Motocycles contributing its industry expertise and global distribution network.This partnership marks a new chapter in the evolution of the french electric motorcycle industry, and promises to deliver made in France cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions to consumers.

With the support of Peugeot Motocycles, DAB Motors will soon be mass-producing its electric motorcycles and delivering worldwide” said Simon Dabadie, CEO & Founder of DAB Motors.

DAB Motors will benefit from Peugeot Motocycles’ rich industrial history, enabling it to scale up and launch their innovative electric motorcycle on a large scale.

For its part, Peugeot Motocycles will have the opportunity to take advantage of DAB Motors’ knowledge of electric vehicle design (particularly with regard to top-of-the-range motorbikes and innovative solutions) and to combine it with the research carried out as part of the in-house electrification programme.

As part of this collaboration, Peugeot Motocycles has made a substantial new investment in DAB Motors, and now owns the majority stake in the company, to launch the serial production of the highly anticipated Concept-E.

DAB Motors will now industrialize its designs with the support of an historical motorcycle manufacturer. This includes access to Peugeot Motocycles’ historical factory in Mandeure, France, where DAB Motors will set up its production.

The historical factory in Mandeure has the potential to revolutionize DAB Motors’ production capabilities, allowing the company to produce its electric motorcycle in larger quantities. This will not only increase production, but also improve efficiency and lower costs to make the DAB e-motorcycle competitive on the premium electric market.
