Manufacturers Offer Tornado Relief

Honda, Polaris and Kawasaki have all put forth contributions to the relief effort in Oklahoma after a devastating tornado touched down in Moore, OK just over a week ago.

Honda has donated $100,000 to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Portable generators will be donated to aid areas that are still without power. Honda Finance has also announced plans to offer extensions of loans to customers affected by the storm.

Kawasaki has donated utility vehicles to local police and fire departments in Oklahoma. The vehicles are to be used to help assist in clean-up and safety patrols. They have also announced a program to match employee donations to the Red Cross of up to $500.

Polaris will donate 10 military ATVs, Rangers and RZRs to the Salvation Army to help in transporting food and supplies to stricken areas.
