H-D Announces New Season of Garage Parties

By: Cycle Canada Published on 2 February 2011

Harley-Davidson retailers across Canada are once again gearing up for a new season of ladies-only Garage Parties. The events, say Harley, allow women who do not yet have their licence, but are intrigued by motorcycling, to come together and learn about motorcycling and ask questions in a non-intimidating and fun environment.

Activities offered at Garage Parties include seminars on how to obtain your motorcycle licence, differences in motorcycle models, customization opportunities, and motorcycling as a social activity. Demonstrations on how to lift your bike after a tip-over and the most effective ways to pack for a motorcycle trip will also be offered at certain venues. Guests will also be able to browse the latest Harley-Davidson fashions specifically tailored for women, including items from H-D’s Pink Label Collection, a label that donates a portion of its proceeds to Rethink Breast Cancer.

For full information on upcoming Garage Party events, contact your local Harley-Davidson dealer or visit www.garageparty.ca, where you will also be able to enter for a chance to win a $1,000 women’s gearing up package.
