Z1000SX aka Ninja 1000 Coming to Canada

By: Cycle Canada Published on 10 October 2010

Kawasaki has announced that the Z1000SX, a fully faired version of their 2010 released Z1000, will soon be coming to Canada. It’ll be called the Ninja 1000 here and, like its naked sibling, powered by a 1,043 cc inline four claiming 136 hp and 81 lb-ft of torque. Setting the new model apart from the Z1000 are the aforementioned fairing with 3-position manually adjustable windscreen, a slightly narrower handlebar, and a larger fuel tank (19 litres as  opposed to 15.5 litres), all intended to create a comfortable, sporty, long range tourer.
The 2011 Ninja 1000 comes in green or red for $13,699.
