MotoAmerica teams with KTM for RC Cup

MotoAmerica has announced a collaboration with KTM to include a new support class in the American race series’ inaugural season next year. 

The KTM RC Cup, a spec-class comprised of identical KTM RC 390 Cup bikes, will be open to racers aged 14-22 and run at select MotoAmerica rounds in 2015. Licensing requirements are currently being developed. For more information on the series, click here.

“One of our main goals in creating MotoAmerica was to find new talent and this is the start of that,” said Wayne Rainey, a founding member of MotoAmerica. “This is going to give a lot of young riders the opportunity to feel the excitement of racing at a professional event on top-level KTM RC 390 motorcycles while competing for a national championship.”
