Triumph Special Edition Models Unveiled

By Cycle CanadaPosted on

European reports have hinted at these new models and main dealers in the UK have even put pictures of the pair on their websites this week. Triumph has now laid all the rumours to rest with the announcement of the Bonneville Special Edition and the Speed Triple Special Edition.

Painted frames are in vogue at Triumph; the Bonneville SE’s is bright red while the Speed Triple SE sports a blue trellis.

The retro-influenced Bonneville SE has a matte black finish on the side panels and tank. Headlight and indicators have been lifted from the Thruxton model and the seat is a design unique to the SE with red stitching and a matte black vinyl cover. The look is rounded out by a grab rail around the back of the seat and round mirrors; both in matte black.

The lean looking Speed Triple SE gets the matte silver with matte blue accent decals as well as carbon fibre side panels, rad covers, front fender and tank cover panel. A clear taillight lens and re-styled clutch and alternator covers accent the SE package. Wheels are blue pinstriped and the silencer has a black shield.

The new machines arrive in Canadian dealers May 1st. The Speed Triple SE is priced at $14,999 and the Bonneville SE carries an MSRP of $8999.
