As the effects of the New Year celebrations wear off, the first weekend of the year brings just a little more daylight and the North American International Motorcycle Supershow to Toronto. The show opens 10:00 am, Friday, January 4th at the International Centre, on Airport Road.

The show features bikes of all stripes from classic and vintage to custom choppers, racing bikes and cruisers. Clubs and Owner Groups will be in attendance as will an array of used machines for sale. Motocross stars of tomorrow will be featured in Hall 4. The Motorcycle Awards of Excellence (MAX) awards will be presented in the rider’s category on Saturday at 2:00 pm in Hall 2; racers MAX Awards will be handed out Saturday at 3:00 pm in Hall 4.

Cycle Canada will be at booth number 3118 and it will be worth your while to stop by. Like last year, two year subscriptions to Cycle Canada will be available for $25 and, while supplies last, subscriptions come with the sumptious 2013 Cycle Canada calendar.

Cycle Canada editor Neil Graham will be in the booth on Saturday, January 5th from approximately 10:30 to 3:30. Bring your comments, compliments, complaints and criticisms; Neil will listen to them all. Cycle Canada’s own Steve Thornton will be in the booth on Sunday, January 6th, so you can drop by and say hello.

Parking is free and the International Centre is accessible by both TTC and Go Transit. Check the Motorcycle Supershow website for show information, advance ticket sales and even a coupon for a discount on Friday admission.
