Recall: Yamaha V-Star 950 and V-Star 1300

Yamaha has issued a recall for their 2007 V-Star 1300 and 2009 − 2012 V-Star 950 motorcycles. A faulty fuel line on the bikes could lead to a leak and potential fire says the notice. Full details from Transport Canada below.

Recall Details

On certain motorcycles, the fuel supply hose (between the two fuel injectors) may have been manufactured incorrectly, which could allow a fuel leak to develop. Fuel leakage, in the presence of an ignition source, could result in a fire causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the fuel injector pipe assembly.
