In the run-up to the EICMA show in Milan next month, KTM have already teased back the curtains on one of their 2012 models. It’s a new entry-level enduro called the Freeride 350. Powered by a 350cc fuel-injected single-cylinder motor claiming 24 hp, the Freeride 350 is designed for “maximum off-road pleasure,” a “feather light enduro to really enjoy,” both on-road and off, says KTM. Billed as a user-friendly dual-sport aimed at riders looking for a gentle introduction into off-roading, the Freeride 350 features WP suspension and Brembo brakes, as well as a newly developed composite frame that helps keep the bike’s weight down to just 99 kg. More details will of course be revealed at the Milan show.

While the new KTM enduro will be available in Europe in spring 2012, Canadian availability is TBA.
