Video: Victory Vision, KTM 990 Adventure, BMW F800ST, Buell 1125R

Last month we posted a dispatch from Lake Placid about our newly reinstated annual fall tour. The intent then was to post daily from the field, in blog-like fashion about Cycle Canada’s motley crew test-riding 4 divergent motorcycles, in fall temperatures over leaf-covered, mountain roads. Ultimately the inclement weather and waning daylight hours of autumn demanded a relentless riding pace, that left no time for citizen-type journalism.

The blog idea may have failed, but in between downpours we were able to capture some footage of our journey, the first result of which you’ll find below: a video reviewing the back roads touring abilities of the Victory Vision, Buell 1125 R, KTM 990 Adventure and BMW F800ST.

A more impressionistic film of the tour is also in the works, so stay tuned, and you also can read about the 2009 fall tour in the November/December issue of Cycle Canada Magazine.
