Toronto, ON. – June 3, 2026 – Yamaha Motor Canada is announcing its 2027 YZF-R9 availability for later this year with Team Yamaha Blue and Raven colorways, plus a new Matte Phantom Blue/Fluo Red option later this year. Since its arrival last year, the R9 has seen overwhelming customer demand and immediate sales success. Additionally, it was a success on the racetrack winning its inaugural season of the MotoAmerica Supersport Championship and World Supersport Championship, proving itself as a street-friendly canyon carver with true racing performance potential.
As part of its ongoing commitment to support improved availability and to help meet the strong demand from customers, Yamaha has implemented a manufacturing update to the 2027 YZF-R9, designed to improve production capacity of the main frame, while maintaining the motorcycle’s specifications and performance.
2027 YZF-R9 Colours
The 2027 YZF-R9 will be available in Team Yamaha Blue, Raven, and Matte Phantom Blue/Fluo Red.
2027 Returning Dual Sport models
The 2027 TW200 will be available in Gallant Grey.
The 2027 WR125R will be available in Black and Team Yamaha Blue, the later with a black frame, a change from a grey frame in 2026.
