Following the recognition earned by Spark 2 at the beginning of 2026, AIROH’s GP 800 helmet has now achieved the prestigious 5-star SHARP rating, the highest score awarded by the independent British motorcycle helmet safety assessment programme. This result further confirms the Italian brand’s commitment to developing products that combine protection, innovation, performance, and comfort. Designed for the on-road segment and developed inside AIROH’s in-house wind tunnel, the GP 800 stands out for its advanced technological solutions and construction engineered to deliver outstanding safety and reliability standards, both for sporty riding and everyday use.
AIROH celebrates another major achievement in the international motorcycle safety landscape: the GP 800 helmet has earned the prestigious 5-star SHARP rating, the highest recognition granted by the independent programme promoted by the UK Department for Transport.
Following Spark 2, the GP 800 now also joins the elite group of helmets that have achieved the highest level within the SHARP system (Safety Helmet Assessment and Rating Programme), one of the most authoritative and recognised motorcycle helmet safety assessment programmes.
SHARP subjects helmets to a series of particularly rigorous impact tests, analysing energy absorption performance across different areas of the shell and under various impact conditions. Ratings are expressed on a scale from 1 to 5 stars, with 5 representing the highest level of protection available.
The recognition achieved by the GP 800 confirms the design and engineering excellence behind a helmet developed to deliver high standards of safety, comfort, and performance. Designed inside AIROH’s in-house wind tunnel, this product features a distinctive look with aggressive and aerodynamic lines, engineered to ensure stability and outstanding performance even at high speeds.

Available with three outer shell sizes in HPC Carbon — and also in the Full Carbon 6K version — the GP 800 provides a wide field of vision thanks to its extra-wide 2D racing visor, engineered to ensure excellent vertical and peripheral visibility. It is also equipped with a locking system for enhanced visual stability even at high speeds. Completing the equipment package are the Pinlock® 120 XLT Max Vision lens and the Dark Smoke visor, both included in the box, in addition to the ATVR (AIROH Tool-less Visor Removal) and A3S (AIROH Automatic Antifog System) systems.
Great attention has also been paid to comfort and airflow management, thanks to an advanced ventilation system and inner linings made from highly breathable technical fabrics, ensuring excellent performance both on track and on the road.
Among the standout technologies featured on the GP 800 are ASN (AIROH Sliding Net), AMLS (AIROH Magnetic Lining System), AEFR (AIROH Emergency Fast Release), and the Hydra System—solutions developed to further enhance safety, practicality, and comfort during intensive and prolonged use. This helmet is also ready for the AIROH AWC4 and AWC2 communication systems, once again embodying the essence of the AIROH philosophy: innovation, protection, and performance dedicated to riders.
