This “BMW K100 Racer” is another proof that the motorcycles bike builder Francisco Alí Manen and his team at Lord Drake Kustoms in Malaga (Spain) are also capable of doing spectacular work on motorcycles like this k100 model from the German brand.

That’s why it was a bit of a challenge to make the final result of this BMW aesthetically pleasing for both the client and the entire LDK team.

Currently, the BMW K100 and K75 or “Flying brick” as they are also known, are one of the most in-demand motorcycles to customize in recent years. Specifically, this model is a 1984 K100 and arrived in excellent mechanical and aesthetic condition, so basically Fran Manen and his team did not have to worry much about updating the motorcycle mechanically, as is usually the case with motorcycles of this type. .

The guys at Lord Drake Kustoms practically jumped into action and immediately started taking it apart to see how they could make something aesthetically beautiful; but above all sporty and somewhat racing.

The first idea was to make the typical BMW cafe racer, but Fran Manén quickly decided to change the concept and make something less seen and very radical.

The work began with the modification of the front suspension, then the semi-handlebars were installed and then the entire subframe was removed and part of the chassis was cut and modified to begin to shape what would be the new rear of this spectacular transformed BMW .

The gas tank had to be modified a little to achieve the radical line of the motorcycle. A new rear shock absorber with air bottle was installed, the entire rear seat and seat were installed with custom upholstery.

All this work has been accompanied by a set of clocks (kilometer and tachometer) and a paintwork inspired by the graphics of the BMW “M” series but in red, gray and silver tones.

The modified exhaust with the Supertrapp tail and a Harley-type headlight

V-Rod are other details to highlight in this spectacular BMW K100 RACER transformed by Lord Drake Kustoms and which is now traveling to another part of the globe, since they send motorcycles all over the world.
