Suzuki unveils new-ish GSX-R1000

By: Cycle Canada Published on 11 August 2015

Gixxer fans, sit tight. Suzuki recently unveiled a new GSX-R1000, though it’s not the all-new GSX-R that’s most certainly in the works.

This is a commemorative edition GSX-R1000 with special red-and-black paint scheme based on the 1986 AMA Superbike livery of American race ace Kevin Schwantz. Otherwise, it’s no different than other currently available Gixxers – aside from a “30 Years of Performance” badge on the tank and red stripes on the rims.

Canadian pricing and availability have not yet been announced.
