KTM/Husaberg Recall 1,361 Off-road Bikes

Transport Canada has announced a recall of 2011 model year KTM and Husaberg (a KTM subsidiary brand) off-road motorcycles, affecting 1,361 units across the country.  At issue is a handlebar clamp that may crack. Full details from Transport Canada are below.

Manufacturer Recall # TB 1110

On certain motorcycles, the handlebar clamps may crack, allow the handlebar to move from its set position. This could result in a loss of vehicle control and a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the handlebar clamps with updated versions.
