By: Cycle Canada Published on 13 May 2011

Transport Canada has announced a recall of Triumph’s 2010 Thunderbird for a problem with its front fender fasteners. Full recall details below.

Transport Canada Recall # 2011192

Manufacturer Recall # 423

On certain motorcycles, the front fender fasteners may loosen, allowing a screw head to contact and damage the sidewall of the front tire. Tire failure could cause the rider to lose vehicle control, which may result in a crash causing property damage and/or personal injury. Correction: Dealers will replace the front fender fasteners.
