EBR Pulls Curtain Further Back on 1190RS – UPDATED

By: Cycle Canada Published on 17 February 2011

Erik Buell Racing has posted another photo on their Facebook page of what is presumed to be the 1190RS, EBR’s first production motorcycle. The image shows the bike sitting fairingless in the shop, perhaps being readied for the Indy Dealer Expo in Indiana this weekend (It’s been reported that Erik Buell wants to unveil the 1190RS at the Expo). The photo supports the expectation that the RS will essentially be an RR with the addition of requisite street legal equipment. Clearly visible are the forward-facing radiators from the EBR 1190RR, lots of carbon fibre and a headlight switch block mounted on the handlebar.

Update: The 1190RS will indeed be at the Indy Dealer Expo. EBR has now put another photo on Facebook with the caption: Spy photo of the race 1125 and the 1190RS in the van on it’s way to Indy for the big show!
