New Inline-six BMW K1600LT Spied

A new BMW K1600LT prototype has been spotted being tested in California. BMW showed their Concept 6 at last year’s EICMA show announcing they’d soon be using its 1596cc inline-six engine to power a production bike. Well here it is. BMW says the new engine will make 96lb/ft of torque at just 2,000rpm. The K1600LT represents a large displacement increase for BMW’s range, whose machines currently top out at 1300cc with the inline-four K1300 GT.
