Why a Road is Not a Track

By: Cycle Canada Published on 24 May 2010

Here’s a story about a group of guys on supermotos out for a spirited ride through the twisties, who suddenly encounter an oncoming motorcyclist making a blind corner pass in their lane. Somehow they narrowly avoid what surely would have been a fatal collision. Now, while it’s clear the other rider was in the wrong here, other footage in the video below shows the  supermoto gang crossing the double yellow line themselves, as they set up to drag their knees through corners, showing them to be just as guilty of potentially causing a devastating accident. Better to take it to the track we say.
