New Ducati Multistrada to be Unveiled in Milan

Ducati has announced that it will unveil the Multistrada 1200 at the EICMA 2009 International Motorcycle Show in Milan on November 9. Rumoured on numerous websites and blogs ’til now to be called the Strada Aperta, the all new Multistrada is billed as a monster trailie in the realm of the BMW R 1200GS, with a power plant derived from Ducati’s championship-winning 1198 Testastretta superbike engine. Ducati has a clock counting down on their website ’til the offiicial reveal, at which time we’ll bring you more details.
