Marzocchi bought by VRM

By: Cycle Canada Published on 14 January 2016

Though it looked like Marzocchi was headed for liquidation, Tenneco (current owner of the brand) looks set to sell the Italian suspension manufacturer to VRM, an Italian automotive company.

Details of the deal are not yet clear, though it seems reasonable to expect Marzocchi will continue supplying components to the motorcycle industry. The name VRM may not ring a bell for motorcyclists, but the company lists BMW, Ducati and MV Agusta among its clients, providing precision components such as chassis bits and engine castings.
