XSprint Full Throttle Starts in Welland in July

Dirty Bikes is holding the first round of their new XSprint Full Throttle series at the Welland County Motorcycle Club on July 24th, and giving anyone who’s ever wanted try off-road racing the opportunity to compete for the day for just $75.

The XSprint Full Throttle is a bar-to-bar version of the standard XSprint, using the same tests, though shorter, where the entire lap is timed rather than each individual test. Every XSprint course is made up of three special tests: extreme, enduro and cross. The extreme test is designed to test the technical and physical dexterity of the riders, carried out on areas with technical obstacles wide enough to not create traffic jams during race. Terrain is either man made, natural or a combination of both. The enduro test is typically done in a woodland setting on a single/double track and may also include open terrain such as rolling hills and grassland, and the cross test takes place on a motocross track.

The entry fee for all competitors is $45, and for the Welland event only, organizers are waiving the usual $20 transponder rental fee and offering a one-day $30 racing license to riders without a WEC CMRC XC or full CMRC MX license.
