Moto Guzzi V7 Scrambler & California Spy Pics

By: Cycle Canada Published on 31 January 2011

Spy photos of two new Moto Guzzi models have emerged on the internet via an Italian Guzzi forum.  The camera phone images, taken at Piaggio’s annual dealers meeting, show the 2012 V7 Scrambler and 2012 California. While the Scrambler is another addition to the Italian manufacturer’s 744 cc V7 platform—a modern classic range that includes the V7 Racer, V7 Classic and V7 Cafe Classic—speculation is that the California cruiser has an all-new engine, because the valve covers pictured don’t resemble those on any current Guzzi motor. Parent company Piaggio’s long planned 1400 cc twin perhaps?

We’re hoping for official details soon. Stay tuned.
