Dakar Rally 2010: Montrealer Holding Strong

By Cycle CanadaPosted on

Team Honda Europe rider Patrick Trahan is one stage closer to becoming the fourth Canadian to ever complete the Dakar Rally. Trahan finished the 238 km route through Chile today in 4:13:59, falling one spot back to 60th overall, yet feeling confident and strong.

“I think I could go for one extra week!”, he wrote in his blog yesterday.

The usual suspects continued to dominate at the head of the pack, with Marc Coma winning for the second day in a row and Cyril Despres increasing his overall lead by close to another minute, putting him now 1:22:49 ahead of Norwegian Pal Ullevalseter.
