The Flat Track Canada race scheduled to take place in Walton, Ontario, on August 15 as a sister event to the Parts Canada TransCan Canadian Motocross Grand National Championship round at the same venue has been cancelled.

“Unfortunately the track has seen several hurdles and has not come together as we had hoped,” said Mark Perrin, director of marketing for Walton Raceway.

“I’d like to apologize to our racers and to the Walton audience who were looking forward to witnessing flat track racing,” said Aaron Hesmer, president of Flat Track Canada. “Unfortunately, circumstances were beyond my control, but we at Flat Track Canada remain focused on the continued growth of flat track racing.”
