Ducati’s Chaz Davies secured two wins during the World Superbike Championship’s stop at America’s Laguna Seca circuit on the weekend, the first double-win for Ducati since Carlos Checa at Imola in 2012.

Kawasaki riders Tom Sykes and Jonathan Rea rounded out the rostrum, finishing second and third, respectively, in both of Sunday’s races. For full results from Laguna Seca, click here.

“I’m really, really happy with these results,” Davies said. “We’ve definitely seen the fruits of our labour here. The track here perhaps limits our weak points and plays to our strengths, and we were able to put together two really good races that went almost exactly to plan.”

Rea remains atop the overall WSBK standings with a colossal 407 points. Sykes is second overall with 282, while Davies moves into third with 263.

The next round of WSBK goes August 2 at Malaysia’s Sepang circuit.
