Following World Superbike’s stop at Italy’s Misano World Circuit “Marco Simoncelli” earlier this season it was announced that the venue will continue to host WSBK rounds through the 2019 season.

“We are really pleased to continue our journey together with the Misano World Circuit, a venue that has always shown great interest to the Superbike World Championship and to motorcycle racing in general,” said Daniel Carrera, WSBK Championship director. “A four-year renewal helps both parties plan the future editions with renewed confidence, allowing us to do our best to keep the Riviera di Rimini Round as one of the best and most enjoyable events on the calendar for fans, riders and teams.”

Misano has held WSBK races for 23 years and has hosted the third most WSBK rounds behind Phillip Island and Assen.
