Aprilia’s World Superbike effort officially presented its team on Wednesday at the Phillip Island Circuit in Australia. Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils riders Leon Haslam and Jordi Torres were on hand to unveil their 2015 machinery.
“We’re the reigning world champions and we have always played a key role in recent seasons,” said Romano Albesiano, Aprilia’s racing manager. “We have a good mix of riders and I am pleased with these first test sessions.”
Haslam, Aprilia’s best shot at a championship this season, also commented: “My goal for this season is to win, as it always is, and this year I’m pretty certain that I have the best possible technical package available to try and do just that.”
