Ducati gets scrambling

Ducati recently began the first full production run of its all-new Scrambler at the company’s factory in Bologna, Italy. It enters production six months after its first introduction, a sneak peak allowed to company employees inside a locked cargo container (no, we’re not kidding).

Ducati CEO Claudio Domenicali was on hand with a bottle of bubbly to celebrate Ducati’s newest addition. “The first bike is particularly meaningful to us,” Domenicali said. “With its ‘Land of Joy’ theme, the Ducati Scrambler brand will be bringing a breath of fresh air and fun to dealerships and will provide a great product that combines modernity with heritage in a way never before seen in the motorcycle industry, a fact that fills us with enormous satisfaction and pride.”

We’re not sure about the “never before seen in the motorcycle industry” part, but as he’s a proud new papa, we’ll give him a pass.
