American Nicky Hayden, who has sat out the last four MotoGP races while recovering from wrist surgery, will be back in action this weekend at Aragon.

“I am really happy to finally return to action this weekend,” Hayden said. “ Racing motorcycles is not only my job but my passion and it hasn’t been easy for me to miss so many races. My arm and wrist feel quite strong and the movement has improved. I didn’t want to come back until I knew I had done everything I could to recover and I am happy with the result.”

Leon Camier had filled in at Drive M7 Aspar in Hayden’s absence.
