Harley Freewheeler coming to Canada

By: Cycle Canada Published on 2 September 2014

“Hot rod-inspired” with a “smaller, easy-handling size,” Harley’s new Freewheeler trike is coming to Canada.

Smaller is, of course, a relative term – though the Freewheeler is undoubtedly of more modest proportions than Harley’s other trike, the Tri Glide Ultra. With an MSRP starting at $31,619, the Freewheeler also comes with a more modest price tag ($9,740 less than the Tri Glide).

What does just over 30 grand get you? Harley’s Twin Cam 103 V-twin, six-speed Cruise Drive transmission, new ergonomically designed hand controls, dual disc front and Hayes rear brakes (linked rear to front), electric reverse with handlebar-mounted control, air adjustable rear shocks, cruise control, a newly designed trunk and a foot-operated parking brake. Oh, and that third wheel.
