Yamaha Introduces the 2012 TMAX

Yamaha’s 2012 TMAX is the ‘R1’ of the scooter world, says its manufacturer, with sport bike inspired torque, handling and braking power.

“Even the most skilled rider would be amazed with its ability to react like a sport bike!” says Yamaha Motor Canada’s Motorcycle Product Manager, John Bayliss.

Contributing to the TMAX’s sporty character, says Yamaha, is its 530cc, fuel-injected 4-stroke power plant cradled in a CF die cast aluminum frame rolling on large diameter wheels (15″) with “motorcycle inspired suspension.” Yamaha also wants you to know that the new TMAX also features an angular instrument panel, new headlights and a height-adjustable windscreen.

The 2012 TMAX is available Bluish White (Yamaha’s description, not ours) with an msrp or $10,499.
