Yamaha Offering Scooter Demo Rides at Toronto Motorcycle Show

By: Cycle Canada Published on 24 November 2011

Yamaha has announced that they’ll be offering free scooter demo rides at the Toronto Motorcycle Show, December 9-11. Believing that scooters don’t always get the credit they deserve, Yamaha says they want to give people a chance to experience the sensation of riding their latest fun, easy-to-ride, fuel efficient, 50 cc machines: the BWs 50, Vino 50 or C3.

People 16 years or older are invited to visit the Yamaha Riding Academy (YRA) while at the show to take a test ride. There’s no cost and you don’t even need a motorcycle license, though riding instructor Clinton Smout will suit up riders in proper riding gear and ensure they know everything there is to know about riding a scooter, which shouldn’t take long, since there are no gears or clutch to worry about. Check out their demo ride schedule below.

Saturday 1pm – 1:30pm & 4pm – 4:30pm
