By: Cycle Canada Published on 14 February 2011

Triumph has teamed up with established motorcycle touring company Edelweiss Bike Travel to launch a Europe, Africa and Asia adventure tour programme using their Tiger 800XC (You’ll find Steve Thornton’s first impressions about the new middle weight adventure tourer here).

The 2011 programme offers a selection of five tours, ranging from 11 to 16 days in duration. Three of the journeys begin at Triumph’s factory in Hinckley, and then go to either the  Isle of Man, the Scottish Highlands or to Austria for Triumph’s annual Tridays festival. The other two travel through North Africa or Thailand. All tours are lead by an experienced Edelweiss guide and include accommodation and a fully equipped support van.
