Rossi Signed Shirt Auctioned in Support of Legere

By: Cycle Canada Published on 17 November 2010

Days after Halagonian road racer Charlie Legere suffered a spinal cord injury in a crash at Atlantic Motorsport Park last September, friends and associates formed The Injured Riders Association of Atlantic Canada, a non-profit organization whose goal is help provide financial support to injured racers and their families. The association has already raised $43,000 for Legere through a number of fundraising events and is now hoping to add to that total by putting a Valentino Rossi autographed Fiat Yamaha pit shirt up for auction.

Bids can be made by sending your name, address, phone number and bid amount via email to auction@injuredracers.com. A reserve of $500 has been put on the item and the highest bid will be updated daily at www.injuredracers.com until the auction ends on November 27, 2010. The winner will also receive a $700 gift certificate for framing.
