2016 Indian Chieftain

When Polaris resurrected the Indian brand in 2014 the Chieftain was its flagship model, and with its Thunder Stroke 111 engine, ABS, fork-mounted fairing with electric windshield, remote locking hard saddlebags and Bluetooth connectivity, it cut an imposing figure. It was displaced from its top-of-the-line perch by the Roadmaster last year, which has a cavernous top box and hockey-inspired shin pad–like fairing lowers. Both get price bumps for 2016, $2,400 for the Chieftain and a whopping $4,600 for the Roadmaster.
