Harley-Davidson Road King

CC staffer James Nixon spent six days touring B.C. on a Road King and came back convinced it's aptly named, due in large part to the improvements implemented through Project Rushmore. These included linked Brembo brakes with ABS, brighter lighting, a stiffer fork, tank-mounted gauges with tach and gear indicator, cast aluminum rims and cutback front fender. Easy-open hard saddlebags, a detachable windscreen, large footboards and a comfortably dished seat help the Road King retain its king-of-the-road crown.
