Ryan Capes broke the world record for the longest ramp-to-ramp jump on a motorcycle twice on Saturday night at the Grand Sierra Resort and Casino in Reno Nevada.

After breaking the record with a jump of 87.48 metres (287 feet), Capes followed up with a second attempt, clearing 96.32 metres (316 feet) and surpassing his stated goal of 91 metres (300 feet).

"I promised my fans not only was I going to break the ramp-to-ramp world record, I promised my fans that I'd be the first guy to jump ramp-to-ramp 300 feet," Capes said.
