2008 Parry Sound Sportbike Rally

Despite the trials and tribulations this year’s organizers were asked to endure, the 26th Annual Parry Sound Sportbike Rally will take place this weekend, July 4th to 6th, 2008.

Hosting the event is the Parry Sound Motorcycle Association and the community of Parry Sound, who are encouraging visitors to the rally to enjoy the landscape and scenery surrounding some of the best riding roads in Ontario.

The epicenter of the rally will be the Bobby Orr Community Center (BOCC), located in the downtown core of Parry Sound. A $20 registration fee gives participants a t-shirt, a bag of goodies and entry into all events and attractions.

Friday July 4

Expo & Registration 12pm – 9pm (BOCC)

Dyno Runs (BOCC)Auction viewing (BOCC)

Biker Café (BOCC)

Video night with Max Burns featuring the Worlds Fastest Indian (BOCC upstairs)

Kick off street music & Show ‘N’ Shine (Main St.) 

 

Saturday July 5

Expo & Registration 8am – 5pm (BOCC)

Dyno Runs(BOCC)

Biker Breakfast 7am – 10am (BOCC)

Supermotard – Practice(Salt Dock)

Auction viewing (BOCC)

Biker Café (BOCC upstairs) refreshments and motorcycle themed videos all day

Poker Run with Prizes (BOCC)

Suzuki FMX Tour 3 shows at the Salt Dock (Noon, 2pm and 4 pm)

Trials (Fowler Pit)

Biker Dinner 4pm – 6:30pm (hosted by Max Burns)

Live Auction (BOCC)

7:00 pm Thunder Run Forming up at Louisa St. ending at the Parry Sound Mall with Cheap Awards to follow plus music and entertainment.

 

Sunday July 6

Supermotard – Race(Salt Dock)The race is CMRC sanctioned all spectator gate proceeds go to the Parry Sound Motorcycle Association
